Charlie

7-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

A Journey Home Dog Rescue would like to introduce sweet Charlie, a little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Charlie is a seven-year-old adorable female who is a breeder release weighing in at just over fifteen pounds. She spent most of her first seven years having puppies and living in her crate. This little toy charmer now deserves a life of freedom, attention, patience, and affection as she embarks on her new life. Like most Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, her temperament is to be admired - gentle. patient and calm.

Her foster folks have found her to be a champion cuddler. She wants to sit on your lap as much as possible though she does enjoy her crate too. She barks little, loves her food, and is working on being house-broken and walking on a leash. She greets every person and dog she meets with eagerness. She has cohabitated with her foster sister dog without fuss and has enjoyed playtime with the foster's grandchildren. She is predominantly low energy, though given the chance she will have a good forward sprint on the lawn without looking back.

Charlie will be spayed and have dental surgery on 9/19/23. She has been diagnosed with dry eye syndrome so she will require Optimum once a day most probably for the rest of her life. Her coat is currently short, though will require regular brushing when it grows out. Charlie's lovable face and cuddly demeanor makes it almost impossible not to love her upon sight. You can't buy happiness, but you can adopot.
