Zelda

We may not be sure what has happened in Zelda's short life, but she now has a warm bed and food at her foster home. This energetic pup was rescued mere hours before she was going to be euthanized.

Zelda is a six-month-old female boxer mix who loves to play, snuggle and learn. Outside is her favorite place to be and she often gets the zoomies from the excitement of being let out. She would jump into everyone's lap for cuddles if allowed and thoroughly enjoys all toys, especially squeaky ones and balls. She is working on her fetch skills so her future family can have fun with her.

Zelda has mastered potty training, even in the rain! She is working on leash training and will make the perfect walk buddy, possibly even the perfect running partner. She is the perfect age to really hone in on training and learn everything. She is showing signs of being focused in on a person she bonds with and please them.

Sweet Zelda might have a bit of separation anxiety, but that is understandable given her recent living situation. Although she is being introduced to the crate slowly, we do believe she will start to feel safe in one. She will need an active family with a fenced in yard to run in. She is great in the car and loves adventure.

This girl is need of someone to love, care for and cherish her forever after her rough start to life. Could that someone be you?
